We are a South African based manufacturer and wholesaler of premium biltong products as well as source and supply high quality dried fruits and nuts products. Our business model is based around a B2B (Business to Business) approach with some direct to consumer options.
Process
A2 Grade beef is sourced from quality suppliers
All meat is hand cut and prepared for curing
Product is marinated in our secret recipes for several days
The beef dries for several more days under natural conditions
Product is packaged and batched, ready for delivery
Our delivery network reaches nationally with a hands on approach
Food Safety
We are assessed by Intertek and found to adequately comply with the current
versions of the following standards and guidelines:
Requirements for prerequisite programmes (PRPs)
Prerequisite programmes on food safety
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
Food Safety Management System requirements as guided by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI)

Our quality products are supported by service excellence. Crackly's not only consists of biltong but a wide range of dried fruits & nuts, peanuts and various other snacks. Raw materials are procured from quality-approved suppliers and all our products have a 6 month shelf life under normal storage/display conditions. Each product is bar-coded, marked with a ‘best before’ date and batch code.
